Hei,
hope it is fine I answer in English, my Norwegian is not that great yet.
Currently busy with the same idea, up on fjellski and crutches and down in a sit ski. Do have osteoarthritis in both knees and was hiking on crutches until now, but the downhills are becoming more and more of a challenge, so thought I might need to change activity a bit. But at the same time do not want to give up getting to mountain tops
.
Anyhow, I have met with one of the suppliers of NAV to see what is possible. He is a sit-ski instructor himself and thinks that with a lot of training it might work. He suggested to switch to a dual-ski sit ski for toppturer (tessier scarver or tempo). That way I would also be able to drag it behind me on the way up (there is the possibility of some side supports so it does not fall to the side). In the tessier sit skis there are a couple models where you can switch between uni-ski and double-ski bindings, so a combination of alpine skiing with a uni-ski and toppturer with a dual-ski with one and the same seat would be possible. Additionally, there is the possibility of attaching a safety frame, which I think I would really like in the beginning so that friends can help stearing in parts where it gets to steep.
So much for now, have not tried it out in practice yet so waiting for the winter to come
.
