Interesting. At the shop where I work, we got a new Crescent 75 with a bad skunky odor. The pack is new so I wonder if it's some kind of coating or treatment that Osprey is using.

I just bought an Osprey Ariel 75 and it smells fine but my brother (who I live with and share a gear closet with) has a Crescent 90 and it reeks! He bought it second hand but I give him so much crap becuase his pack has stunk up our whole gear closet, maybe i'll move it to the garage.... At first I thought it was becuase he had used it 2 summers ago fighting wildfires in Montana and it was smoke logged-- but now I think maybe there might be more to it then that... It's good to know that others have had the same problem. Thanks!-Kris
***********************************Så nei; tror ikke dette kun gjelder Switch 40+5.Regner med at Osprey bruker samme leverandør på materialet i sekkene sine. Og dersom det var problem med materiale/impregnering ett bestemt år, så gjelder det nok flere sekker.
