Friflyt forum Ski Toppturer i Sognefjellet

Hello and first of all sorry for writing in English.

Could you recommend some nice toppturs around Sognefjellet (and 100-200km from there) that would be possible to ski in June for sure? What kind of avalanche/crevasse situation there usually is during start of the June around the glaciers and overall? How is the snow situation looking right now at there?

All kind of tips are more than welcome!

It is looking like june will be a good month for skiing around sognefjellet this year, but conditions change...

There are many good trips around Turtagrø, Krossbu, and Leirvassbu. Just to name a few.

Crevasse and avalanche risk/conditions is difficult to say unless you are there on the day. High up and on north faces you will still probably find winter conditions, whilst south faces and lower slopes will be spring conditions.
