Friflyt forum Ski US - German backcountry Tele-skier looking for ski-buddies (Oslo)

Hi folks, I have just started short 3 months job here in Oslo (December to March) , and I can?t wait to try the snow out here! I am 34, and a medium to advanced level skier I would say, and prefer off-piste, but can enjoy a day on the groomed slopes as well. (I have my own avalanche gear etc... don?t mind snow-camping either) I have mostly skied the US-west Coast, sierra nevada, cascades, BC... I'd put myself on the safe and more conservative side, so no crazy cliff jumps and that sort of thing, but I just love to be out there.Of course I don?t know anybody yet - no car, but a driving license - and it?s kinda good to go with at least one other - especially someone who knows the area and weather a little bit...Mit norsk mobilnr. er: 98191088

Here in Oslo Tryvann/Wyller and Varingskollen offer great skiing and are available by bus/subway/train. On weekends Norefjell has a bus service from Oslo.
