På grunn av lite info og tester om disse skia, måtte jeg sende mail til Mike Wilson og Lib-Tech. Her er svaret jeg fikk:
"Both the Freeride NAS with Re-curve and the Pow NAS with re-curve are a stiff to medium stiff flex, but they ski softer than they flex, because of the re-curve. Re-curve is not reverse camber, or traditional early rise. It has camber underfoot so you don't get speed wobble like on k2's or other reverse camber skis. It has a short flat section just outside that, and a little early rise in the tip and tail. When you pick up speed in powder or chunder you flex out the camber so the ski becomes a reverse camber ski, and floats really well, but it has the camber for when you hit the traverse or groomer to get back to the lift without speed wobble. The tip is lower than most other pow skis, and the reason is that with re-curve the ski already floats so well that with a higher tip it bounces over most chunder and pushes people into the backseat, so we made the tip smaller. If you watch most people ski a reverse camber ski as soon as they hit other peoples tracks they just cruise around in the backseat, because the tip bounces over the snow. We combated that backseat tendency by creating the re-curve, which skis pow like a reverse camber ski, and skis groomers like a traditional camber ski.I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to email me back if you have any more.
Mike"
Skal ha enten Pow eller Freeride. Det vanskelige nå blir å bestemme seg for kun én av dem. :wink
